The Peru team is currently in its final phase of a gravity-fed potable water system project that services an agricultural community of 64 participating families. In the summer of 2019, the team completed all construction activities, connecting the remaining homes to the distribution network and constructing a chlorination system at the reservoir tank to purify the water.

The Kenya team is preparing to implement a borehole in two different communities this summer in the Kuria West district and also plans to assess the state of a water distribution plant in the area to potentially refurbish it in the future.

The Ecuador team is working to provide a safe, sustainable, and reliable water system in Rosario Vainas, a small village of 550 people located about 117 miles (approximately a 3.5-hour drive) from Quito, the capital of Ecuador.

In the summer of 2018, the DR team successfully redesigned significant parts of the water system to resolve distribution inefficiencies and installed a chlorination and filtration system to provide clean, safe water to El Cajuil. This project has just concluded, with the DR team making final touches to the system in 2020.
